  This week at MBPS - Main Beach Property Sales

Our saying this week was gifted to me by a buyer. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Pete and his family, who were seeking to purchase two homes with the view to relocating to Main Beach. I received a call this week to thank me for introducing the family to a number of properties and to advise that they had purchased an apartment for Mum, “unfortunately” Pete said, through another Agent. I congratulated them and was very thankful for the call. During the conversation I said it was not “unfortunate”, I was very pleased as I knew from our conversations that “Mum” loved that apartment and I had said, as I often do, “you will know when you walk in the door and you love the feel”. I had enjoyed our encounter and it had been “my pleasure”. I said that there will be other opportunities, as I would endeavour to locate the 2nd home for them. To which Pete made the comment above. I thought it was very wise and wanted to share...

You may, or may not, have noticed that our Newsletter has, once again, become almost “Monthly” rather than weekly... Not for the lack of matters to ‘report’, but rather the lack of opportunity to put pen to paper – so to speak. You can tell I go back a bit – who puts pen to paper anymore... On that note – some may have never heard the saying ‘pen to paper’...

These past few weeks have certainly been very busy for MBPS, with 13 Appraisals, resulting in 5 New Listings, so far, and much buyer activity, with 1 agreed Contract and others in the making... Also, 2 ½ Settlements!

So for now our New Listings:

Apartment 19D Sunbird, which is featured below, is a beautifully presented 2 bedroom – “good feel” apartment; right across the road from the beach; tastefully renovated with stunning views of the Ocean and the Hinterland, as it wraps around the Northwest corner of Level 19 – “the sunsets are a sight to behold”. Three of our ‘unmentionable’ Contracts are now unconditional and therefore considered SOLD – Apartments 74 Xanadu East and Apartments 103 and 134 in Xanadu North. We would like to congratulate both the Sellers, who kindly entrusted us the sale of their homes and the Buyers on the purchase of their new Holiday Homes!

Contracts that have settled last week are Apartment 3 Norfolk and Apartment 59 The Meriton, so congratulations again to the Sellers and Buyers! It has been our pleasure!

The other ½ settlement was in ‘Conjunction’ with the listing agent of Apartment 86 De Ville! We were fortunate to be provided with the opportunity and pleasure of assisting the Buyers in purchasing at Auction. So congratulations to the Sellers and to our part-time local friends, the Buyers! Also, we would like to say “thank you” for inviting us to be part of your experience and purchase.
