This week at MBPS

Our saying this week is by courtesy of one of our part time locals, who in an email this week said “Don’t work too hard. Maybe one of your future newsletters might be about not working on a Sunday ???”, so I thanked him for the laugh and commented “that is actually my ‘funday’ - I later received our saying...
It is true – as many of you will know, I love what I do... These days, I particularly love the early morning starts and Saturday and Sunday when I have time to ‘chat to the locals and passing byers’ - or ‘buyers’ ... Last Sunday was particularly busy, potentially due to the influx of visitors for the Magic Millions.
One of my highlights on a Sunday is when two little twin boys, who I met as locals when they were born, return to Main Beach regularly on a Sunday (Saturday at times) to get a ‘mochaccino’ on their way to the Beach or SeaWorld. I love that they come looking for me and I get ‘big hugs’ and have a chat... Once recently on a Saturday I was not in the shop and they asked their mother “is Annette in jail”, she said ‘No, why do you ask” – and they pointed to my photo in which I was wearing black and white strips... How priceless is that! It did make me think twice about that outfit...
Speaking of fun – we have continued to be busy with Appraisals, Sales and Property Management, having gained a number of properties over recent weeks.
We previously mentioned a ‘coming soon’ in Xanadu – Apartment 115 Xanadu North, has now been released to the market and can be viewed below as our Feature Property. The Apartment, which is situated on Level 13 is a centre apartment, so good separation of the two spacious bedrooms, with a large wrap around entertainers balcony show casing the beautiful bright blue ocean. Once again, for those who are looking for ‘what you see’ is what you get, please contact us to arrange a private inspection.
We also have a new listing in Oscar on Main – a very spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a separate ‘deck’ in addition to its balcony – again, it must be seen to appreciate. The apartment itself is approximately 89m2 and I hesitate to guess the size of the deck, pending receipt of the floor plan, however, the appearance is that of a lounge and dining area... This will all be apparent from photos, once received, or by viewing at any time by appointment in the meantime.
We have written two ‘conditional’ Contracts this week, which are of course ‘unmentionable’, until ‘sold’...
We have also had two settlements, 39 Surfers Mayfair and 8C The Inlet, so we would like to congratulate the happy Sellers and Buyers! Also, Claire and Carmen and I, respectively for bring the parties together!
