The characters we meet in life – like Merle, pictured here, who we met whilst attending an appraisal recently. This week I have been thinking of the characters we have been fortunate enough to meet in the past decade and thought we should introduce Merle. She is 32 years old and will potentially live to the age of 40.

There are so many other characters, who provide us with laughs and entertainment or simply ‘feel good’ moments… The Boyz are one such couple – they shared the photo below of a sunset from their balcony earlier this week… This is Main Beach living!

I was looking for sayings relating to the characters we meet in life when I came across – “Be like a postage stamp – stick to one thing until you get there – Josh Billings”. I am not sure of the relevance now, however, I could not resist sharing…

In Sales this week, we have had 3 new Contracts, all of which are ‘conditional’, so ‘unmentionable’ for now.

Apartment 3 Calais, one of our previously ‘unmentionable’ Contracts, is now unconditional and therefore “Sold”. Congratulations to the happy Sellers and Buyer! Also, to Carmen and myself who brought the parties together.

Congratulations also to the Sellers and Buyers of the Penthouse in XXV Breaker Street Residences, which settled today! And to Claire and myself, who negotiated the Contract.

Speaking of settlements – last week we mentioned the settlement of Apartment 29 Silverpoint, only to find on Monday the ‘news’ hit the front page of The Australian Business Review… “Stokes gets $2.5m for bolthole”… “He secured $2.5m through MBPS estate agent Mary Tatton…” Congratulations, once again, Mary!

Featured below is the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, with 2 car spaces, in Cronin Palms, which we mentioined previously. The apartment is set in a tranquil corner overlooking the pool of the ‘walk-up’ complex, which comprising of only 9 apartments. Please call Claire to arrange a private inspection.

I recently likened working in Sales in the current market as like working on a conveyor belt or in a supermarket when stock is short – the stock comes in and just as quickly it goes out. We are almost ‘out of stock’… We are, of course, working on re-stocking, so please ‘watch this space’!
