Some of our readers may recall that in our first Newsletter for the New Year, we spoke of the New Year of 2026, in numerology terms, being the 1st year of our next 9 year cycle and it being the year of the Horse. Well, as this week is Chinese New Year and also the year of the Horse, I was curious as to whether the two were aligned or is it co-incidental? So I asked my friend “Google” who provided an “AI Overview”, which advised me that “Yes, it is highly coincidental—and considered very significant in both Chinese astrology and Western numerology—that 2026 is both the start of a new 9-year cycle and the Year of the Fire Horse. The combination of a Universal Year 1 (numerology) and the Year of the Fire Horse (Chinese zodiac) creates an intense, high-energy, and rare alignment that happens once every 60 years.”
It went on to provide breakdown of why “this convergence is so unique”, which I found interesting, so I have provided the link below. The article concluded – “In summary, the alignment of a 60-year Fire Horse cycle with a 9-year numerological "reset" makes 2026 a particularly momentous year for new beginnings and intense independent action.”
