How true is this in ‘life’ these days – I am sure we can all relate...
Our saying this week is clearly meant to be in keeping with the fact that this weekend the “2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500” is being held on the Gold Coast – Friday 24th October to Sunday 26th October 2025. I am sure you are not relying on us for that ‘snippet’ of News and if you were – our apologies! It is a little late to let you know now... We have, however, as usual highlighted below the details of road closures, etc.
We feel that we should commence with another apology – as our ‘weekly’ Newsletter once again become a ‘monthly’... This apology is me living in the hope that you are all anxiously waiting by your computers for our Newsletter to arrive each week... If I could add ‘emojis’ here, there would be many smiley faces...
This Newsletter, was in fact, commenced two weeks ago and was a combination of a number of subjects covered previously in our Newsletters - Relationships, Community, Teamwork and Good fortune – in my view the ingredients to ‘success’... The reason they were forefront on my mind, was that I had the ‘great fortune’ of writing from Italy, my ‘adopted’ second home... And, without a combination of all of the aforementioned, I would not have been there. So I was really wanting to say thank you to everyone, our Clients and our Community, who continue to support us, and of course, to our hardworking MBPS Team, without whom my holiday would not have been possible – Thank you!
As you may have gathered – my good intentions of publishing a Newsletter from Italy, were led astray by my Italian friends who insist that I live as an Italian – eat, drink and do not worry too much about sleep - thus my draft stayed in ‘drafts’...
I must say it was my Italian friends who brought the theme of our Newsletter to mind, as I witnessed them operating their businesses as we do ours – on good Relationships, Community and Teamwork. So, it goes to show – it does not matter the nature of the business, the principles are the same... They are ‘restaurateurs’ – thus my extra 5 kilos that some of you may have noted...
One of our many lunches was a business lunch for me, in the mind of one of my friends - and, potentially for them... No, not introducing me to Buyers for Australian Property, although, give him time... It was a luncheon hosted for me to meet a ‘wine maker/importer’, as I happened to ‘mention’ that we have a Venue and perhaps I could import wines from their district... It was evident that it is all about bringing the parties together – just as it is with MBPS...
