You can’t look back, you will get a sore neck... Bill, Main Beach local
Frequently I hear myself saying ‘we cannot look back’ when speaking with people who have regrets, for whatever reason. They say, ‘oh, if only’, or ‘I should have’ or ‘ I should not have sold that property’... This week during one such conversation with one of our locals, Bill, said, ‘your right, we can’t look back, we will get a sore neck... I thought it was funny, but how true.
Equally, I believe that we cannot have ‘regrets’ in life – I know, easier said than done... However, true. Once again, you cannot not change the past and all regrets are things of the past, because if they were for the future, we could and would make changes... The old saying ‘hindsight is a wonderful thing’...
In writing this it took me back to very fond memories of a dear friend, who passed prematurely many years ago. She introduced me to Edith Piaf’s song “No Regrets”. I have shared the link to the English version HERE... Music is truly good for the soul!
Speaking of ‘music’ - Some weeks ago I shared a snippet and link to one of Dr. Helena Popovic Newsletters. Helena Popovic is a medical doctor and a leading authority on how to improve brain function. I have just received another of her Newsletters which I thought timely to share, given the Main Beach Street Festival coming up on the 14th of September. The power of music is at times incomprehensible... In this week’s Newsletter Dr. Popovic shares the link to a video, which truly shows the ‘power’ of music... A worthwhile read and viewing – it brought tears to my eyes... We have shared the link to Dr. Popovic’s Newsletter below.
Our Newsletter this week is being published, not only to keep in touch, but in the main to highlight and Feature the New listing we mentioned last week, Skyhome A15-2 ‘Rivage Royale. We would like to congratulate the Sellers of Apartments 1A Beachside Tower and 7 Camira Court, 548 Marine Parade, Biggera Waters and thank them for providing us with the opportunity to sell their valuable asset. Also, congratulations to the happy Buyers on the purchase of their new Main Beach properties and to Carmen and Michelle who brought the parties together.
Camira Court was one of our ‘quiet’ off market sales, so with only a mention in our Newsletter and a ‘For Sale’ sign Michelle achieved a great price!
