We often speak of our wonderful Village and our Main Beach locals – so we thought we would share some of their humour... Early one morning this week I was assisting Wendy with taking a ladder out of her car so one of our very dear friends could do a repair for us... As you can see, I was carrying the ladder into the shop and suddenly people were gathering around with comments like - “the ladder to success?”, “stepping up in the world?” and “View tax?”. We started the day with a great ‘giggle’ – thank you, once again, to our ‘village’! I know - I do often provide the material for their entertainment... As I did for the Team, once Wendy circulated the photo and they added –
* Rocking the steps * Climbing new heights * Step up your game * There is no elevator to success, you have to take the stairs
Carmen commented “Last one is my pick! Unless you win lotto of course…” Thus our heading this week...
And last, but not least David made the profound statement “Stop living up to other people’s expectations, Climb your own ladder’’ – how true!
So, a Team effort, which as you know, is our ethos every day.
Speaking of ‘success’, we have had another busy week in both Sales and Property Management. In Sales we have 3 New Listings –

Our 3rd New Listing took me on a ‘trip out of town’ yesterday, as I was kindly invited to view and appraise a beautiful ‘lifestyle property’ in a ‘blue-chip’ area of Mount Tamborine. I have not been up the Mountain for many years and had neglected to recall just how special it is. The property, which houses a historical 98 year old home, together with an Airbnb cottage, is situated on 2 acres of manicured gardens and avocado trees – the produce of which is sold to local outlets and off the gorgeous little ‘stall’ at the front gate. The owners also sell, on the old fashion ‘honour system’, the produce from their veggie garden (only what they cannot eat) and beautiful Dahlia flowers from their garden. This is another ‘quiet’ listing for now, so if you are interested in a ‘lifestyle’ block on Mount Tamborine that is an income earner, please call to discuss further. Some of my friends and family will tell you – they had to ‘hold me back’ – if I was retired...
