This week at MBPS
Activity is happiness... Aristotle
The above saying of Aristotle’s was bought to my attention in discussion this week and it very much resonated with me, as ‘Activity’ is certainly happiness to me... Then I read in someone else’s Newsletter this week - 'If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough. Mario Andretti. Again, that resonated with me... I feel that if I am not on the ‘run’ there is something not right!
So, certainly this week, as is usually the case, we are living up to both the saying of Aristotle and Mario Andretti – Things have not necessarily been under control and yet we are happy!
I did not realise that I was living up to Aristotle’s philosophy until it was highlighted to me this week. I have said before that at the age of 18 years my dear Dad taught me that ‘if you are not happy in what you are doing, don’t do it’ and ‘busy is healthy’... It was as simply as that!
Speaking of my dear Dad, it would have been his 107th birthday today, Saint Patrick’s Day and Mr. Jeeves is dressed accordingly – thanks to our Director of First Impressions and Duck Stylist, Wendy. Also, thanks to our lovely local friends, The Boyz, for providing this weeks Joke of the Week!
This week in Sales -
