How true is our saying this week? I ‘borrowed’ it from the wall at the Milon … Yes, I am back ‘on track’ so to speak – up at 5, back home at 7, a walk along our beautiful beach front to the Gym, an easy work out and then that lovely walk home. Whilst I love the Gym – 4 circuits on machines that tell me what to do (how easy is that), the ‘footpath’ would have to be my favourite. The people on the beach, those walking their dogs and “good morning, good morning, good morning” to those walking pass...

I, of course, read much more into the saying than just getting fit and I am sure you will too – a smile, a nice word, a helping hand… Oh, and a ‘virtual hug’ that brings a smile to someone’s face – that goes back a bit now, but then so does my walks and the gym.

Monday ‘took off’ to a great start this week… Our Administration Manager, Cathy, arrived to – an unconditional Contract to disbursement; the preparation of documents for another contract; a settlement in the afternoon and then processing a new listing before ‘close of business’, incorporating the entire spectrum of the listing process albeit not in the correct order!

Yes, last weekend was very busy, which is great considering the continued border closures. The ‘busyness’ continued through the week, resulting in another 2 Contracts being negotiated and another New Listing – with more to come, so watch this space… Thank you, once again, to all the MBPS Team and those of you who continue to support us!

The XXV Breaker Street Penthouse was SOLD over the weekend! After only 2 weeks on the market, we would like to congratulate the happy Sellers and Buyers! Also, Claire and I, who brought the parties together.

We would also like to thank our new Sellers, who have entrusted us with the sale of their homes, Apartment 9 Marquis on Main and Apartment 83 Xanadu North.

Apartment 9, situated on Level 5 of the sought after prestige, residential only complex, Marquis on Main, has been stylishly renovated and to use Carmen’s words, “It is a showmanship of excellence in quality and craftsmanship inside and out”. The outlook over the gardens and pines to the Ocean is incredibly peaceful. The Apartment is available to view from this coming Tuesday, however, we will not have photography to share until next week. This is an “opportunity” prior to the property being released to the broader market. Please call Carmen or me to arrange a private inspection either in person or by FaceTime.

Apartment 83 Xanadu North, if not sold prior to its release to the broader market, will be sold by “Tender” to act in the best interest of the Seller and to be fair to the many Buyers who have been waiting for an apartment in the tightly held Xanadu North Tower. The apartment, which is in pristine original condition, with nothing to be spent, is situated on Level 4 (in fact Level 2, as the builder omitted Level 1 and 2). The uninterrupted, never to be built out Ocean views will amaze you! We appreciate that several of you, who are on our ‘waiting list’ for Xanadu North will not be able to join us for an inspection, however, perhaps a Video walk through may assist. Again, please call Carmen or me to arrange an inspection.

Carmen put the ‘jig-saw puzzle’ together this week with a Seller becoming a Buyer. Another new Contract, Apartment 2073 Liberty, which did not go to market, is now SOLD! Congratulations to the Seller, Buyer and to Carmen!

We do have another ‘unmentionable’ contract, which is not yet unconditional and takes our tally to 3 this week – not bad for a boutique agency!

The Contract on 3/72 Marine Parade settled this week.  So congratulations to the happy Sellers, Buyers and to Claire who brought the parties together.

Congratulations also to the very happy Seller and Buyers of Apartment 62 Xanadu, which settled today!

Two of our ‘unmentionable’ Contracts are now unconditional - Apartment 8 Norfolk and Apartment 62 Kings Row Centre are now SOLD! Again, congratulations to all parties.

In Property Management this week, we have leased the 3 bedroom house in Chirn Park after only 1 inspection and the 2 bedroom unit at 13 Breaker Street in Main Beach, which had many groups attend the Open Home!! The demand for rental properties is clearly still very high.

We have not yet named a new female duck – I am guessing a female, as she is wearing high heels… She is also wearing our new PM polo shirt, so perhaps she will sit in the PM Department. I am not too sure about the lips… but they did give me a great laugh – thank you Wendy and Claire.

I could not resist on the weekend when Shelley sent a photo and said ‘do you want this duck’ – Of course, I said ‘yes, please’…

Enough is enough – we almost need a room for Mr. Jeeves’ family now, however, we are very grateful to all of you who have followed our ‘Mascot’ and have so kindly provided him with his ‘adopted’ family.
