I have been speaking of ethos a lot recently, as it is how I characterise MBPS – “this is our ethos” – “to provide unequalled service, with honesty and integrity”. I particularly refer to ‘ethos’ when speaking about our need for another Sales Agent, as I have been doing. The Sales Team are so busy we do not want to run the risk of not providing that service we aspire to provide. However, the person who joins our Team must have our ethos…

According to the dictionary – “Ethos is a Greek word meaning "character" that is used to describe the guiding beliefs or ideals that characterize a community, nation, or ideology”.

Why am I boring you with this – because it is a very small world and those who know us and the way we work may just happen to know an experience Salesperson, who would like to join our Team. So, this is our ‘adv’…

In my search for sayings this week, I also found – “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results - Albert Einstein”.  That came to mind, as you could well see my method of advertising ‘a little insane’… However, as you can imagine, placing an ad on Seek does not fit in with our ‘ethos’ – so I am putting it out to the universe!

Not withstanding the rain and storms – another busy week has passed. We have put our ‘hats in the ring’ for several new listings, after being invited this week to appraise 5 properties. So, watch this space…

Another of our listings is ‘under contract’, however, once again conditional, so not yet mentionable… We can, however, now congratulate the Sellers and Buyers of Apartment 1071 Liberty Pacific; Apartment 9 Calais; the Villa 1/39 Hughes Avenue and last by not least Apartment 4 Woodrowe Place – Congratulations to all and to the Sales Team!

Congratulations also to our dear friend, who entrusted us to sell her holiday apartment in Ocean Sands and to the lovely new owners of Apartment 76, which settled yesterday! It sold instantly upon listing and did not go to market and perhaps all too soon for the Seller…

We have now placed a price on our newist listing, Apartment 24 Carrington Court, which is featured below and is still only being offered to our clients prior to going to market. At $590,000 in Main Beach, this must be good value…

In Property Management this week we have one new listing and another ‘back on the market’, so please do not miss our Properties to Lease below.  Also, coming up, we have a stunning apartment in Axis. It will be unfurnished, with 2 bedrooms, plus study and 2 car spaces, at $950 per week.  We will launch to our website as soon as photograph is arrange.  However, in the meantime, please feel free to call to discuss.

The little chap seen in the photograph below with Mr. Jeeves and friends is a robotic Santa, which Claire kindly provide to us on loan, to enhance our Christmas window display and encourage people to visit. He not only looks amazing; however, he dances and sings Christmas carols when people pass near to him… So, you can imagine the attention he got from young and old yesterday. The dogs are not lovers of him and some of the little children are a little in ore, however, all in all, he is a great hit. Thanks to Claire!

Santa is partly the reason for the extra late Newsletter – I spent almost all day yesterday 7 am to 6:30 pm speaking to people on the footpatt, as I do...

Also, keeping me a little busier than usual - if that is possible, is the fact that I have join the Committee of the MBBTA, Main Beach Business and Tourism Association. I am now the Treasurer, so I will soon be encouraging everyone to join... If you already know of the Association and would like to join, please contact me for a Membership Form. The Main Beach Business & Tourism Association was incorporated to further promote Main Beach and Tedder Avenue and is now planning a series of Events for the precinct in 2021. Everyone is being welcomed to join and have a say... The founders of the Association hosted the 2019 Main Beach Flower Feastival, which was a great success.
