Well, this week has been a week of laughs and surprisingly (ha ha…) at my expense… Laughter is good for – everything!

You would have to drop into the office and speak with Wendy, our Director of First Impressions, to really appreciate the ‘joke’, or the laughs – she says that I am a ‘good subject’ and she tells ‘a good story’… As a ‘teaser’ – I was leaving a voice message for ‘someone I did not know’ and during the recording at the end of a sentence I said ‘full stop’… thinking I was recording a ‘text message’ – all this technology can be confusing…

We have decided to introduce a new “Mr. Jeeves’ joke of the week” – so please see below and feel free to share your jokes with us – those, that we can publish, please!

On a more serious note, we thought we would share a photograph of Claire with her first ‘Sold’ sign in Main Beach. Congratulations Claire! Not that it is her first sale in Main Beach, however, we do not often have ‘photo’ opportunities. We are very pleased to have Claire as our newest member of our Sales Team. Her professionalism, ethics and of course her personality is a perfect match with the MBPS ethos.

We continue to look for one more Salesperson to complete our Sales Team – it’s a shame cloning is not possible… I know, we should be thankful for what we have in Carmen and now Claire!

This week we have another New listing, 6 Montrose Court - “A Benowa Waters Original. Tourist Parks reopening

Main Beach and Gold Coast News...  

We are looking forward to an influx of our part-time locals returning and visitors arriving this weekend, now that our borders are at least partially open…

The good news is that the ‘Main Beach Tourist Park’ has reopened from today, 17 July, 2020, for self-contained caravanners, ensuites and cabins only. So those ‘cold’ Southerners, who have been lining up to get across the borders with their mobile homes, will be back in town. That is great for business in Main Beach and the Gold Coast and we can only ‘trust’ that everyone will do the right thing, given the further outbreaks of COVID-19 in Victoria and now New South Wales… We just need to be diligent and mindful of that ‘distancing’!

The following other Gold Coast Tourist Parks are open and accepting bookings from holidaymakers for self-contained caravanners, ensuites and cabins only:


• Kirra Beach Tourist Park
• Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park
• Burleigh Beach Tourist Park
• Ocean Beach Tourist Park
• Broadwater Tourist Park
• Tipplers Campground, South Stradbroke Island.


All other parks and campgrounds continue to remain closed until further notice.
