I am very mindful of our Newsletter being late again, for which I apologise. Particularly as this weekend is the first weekend in a long time that we have Saturday and Sunday Open Homes - so please see our list below.

I am back to writing over a glass of red… Oops not for long – now I am writing over a ‘cup of tea’ again in the ‘small wee hours of the morning’. These days the week seems to catch up with me ‘over a glass of red’ and the rest is history, as they say… Oh dear, Carmen just said that sounds like “once you start drinking, it is over!”, so I thought I might clarify – a glass of red sends me to sleep!

We were speaking this week about being mindful of how fortunate we are, as opposed to our Victorian “part-time locals”, whose return to Main Beach has now been delayed further due to their second wave of COVID-19 and being, once again, in ‘lock-down’. We wish you well and ask that you take care and stay safe! We thought we would make you feel better and tell you about all the rain we are having – but then there was Sunshine… At least we thought about it - we even dressed Mr. Jeeves accordingly, especially for you!

The situation in Victoria of course makes us all very ‘mindful’ to take care and not to become too complacent… Among other things, COVID-19 did seriously make me realise how narrow the footpath out the front of our shop is and how difficult it is to ‘do the right thing’ with distancing when speaking to people out there – so we are very excited that our ‘new’ footpath is so much wider… No, not yet, but soon.

Congratulations to them and of course to our Sellers, who we are pleased, have found their new home in Main Beach.

Two of our 'non disclosed' Contracts of Sale are now 'unconditional', so we can announce that Apartment 3 Kings Row Centre and Apartament 8 Yachting Towers are now 'Sold'.  Congratulations to the very happy Sellers and Buyers!  Also, to Carmen and Claire, who negotiated the sales!

News from the Gold Coast City Council – According to their website:

“We’re adding a third right-turn lane from Waterways Drive onto the Gold Coast Highway. Along with the additional lane on the bridge, this will improve peak traffic flow for people travelling from The Spit to Southport.

Clearing northbound traffic faster off Waterways Drive and the Sundale Bridge enables us to allocate more green time for people heading south on the Gold Coast Highway. This helps to also improve southbound traffic flow.”
