I came across our saying this week, whilst looking for a word or saying that would be appropriate to ‘welcome back Wendy’ and I just couldn’t resist… I was actually looking at ‘appreciation’, as that is what come to mind when posting our photograph welcoming Wendy back – appreciation for Wendy and what an asset she is to MBPS and appreciation and gratitude to the whole MBPS Team who all worked tirelessly to fill the ‘gap’, while Wendy was away. Thank you!!

It is difficult for us to let Wendy know how much she was missed while on her 4 week, well deserved, break. Not just by us, the MBPS Team, but by our local passer-byers (pardon the pun...) One of our local friends came into Main Beach from work during the day last week specially to welcome Wendy back, only to find that he was a week early – that’s says something!

This week at MBPS:

We have another new listing - a 3 bedroom unit in ‘Melaleuca’ in Main Beach is listed at $499,000. The apartment is achieving good rental income and is currently tenanted until Feb 2020. It will be presented to the broader market within the next two weeks, however, in the meantime inspections are available by appointment through Carmen on 0410 706 726.

Apartment 1606 ‘Golden Gate’ will settle today – Congratulations to the happy Sellers and Buyers and also to Bren, who negotiated the sale.

The Villa at 37A Peak Avenue, Main Beach, mentioned in last week’s newsletter, is now “live” on our website and featured below. It has been difficult to place a price on the Villa, as it is a quite unique with its loft area, catering for either 2 bedrooms or a large ensuited bedroom, with a ‘multi-purpose’ room. So, we are presenting the property “By negotiation” and the sellers are happy to consider all offers. 

We are ever so close, but not quiet there, on a number of fronts - so, once again, please watch this space...

We are not conducting Open Homes in Main Beach this weekend, due to the activities of the GC 600, however, we are ‘open for business’, as usual and will be able to arrange inspections by appointment, in most cases, unless the property is ‘on the track’…

The big event has arrived with the Transporters rolling through Tedder Avenue on Wednesday. There was live entertainment on the corner of Woodroffe and Tedder Avenue, some of the Drivers were on hand for photos with fans who lined up patiently.
