As we thought of the theme for our Newsletter this week, we came again to the realisation that MBPS is all about Main Beach, its community and its characters, such as our wonderful local with whom we have a ‘dance’, each time he drops in to say hello, as was the case this evening…. It really does not get much better than this!

Then in looking at our saying this week, I realised it applies to all aspects of life, personal, business and certainly our community…

In business – both our Sales Team and our Property Management Team have been working together this week to achieve so much…

The Sales Team has been very busy this week putting together those pieces of the ‘jig saw puzzle’ we mentioned last week… The result being, 11 La Scala Court, Isle Of Capri; 44 Oscar on Main; 64 Xanadu North; 54 Grand Mariner and 1606 Golden Gate are all now under “conditional contracts”, so a great effort by the whole team!! We will continue to show these properties until those contracts are ‘unconditional’, so please do not hesitate to call us if you have any interest.

We also have a new listing - a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Carrington Court, which is listed at $525,000. Renovated throughout, across the road from the beach, so popular that we are unable to access it during school holidays! We have a window of opportunity to have photos taken next week, so it will be featured on our website next weekend prior to being released to the ‘broader market’… Please call Carmen for more information or to arrange an inspection.

Featured this week is Apartment 80 in Xanadu North, which has just been released to the market and will be open for the first time this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday between 11 and 11:30 am.

Apartment 5 Atlantis East is also featured. It is a beautifully presented and renovated 3 bedroom apartment overlooking the tranquil gardens and pool area that Atlantis is renowned for. Apparently, the outlook is amazing in the evening with the pool lights gently transitioning through a variety of colours – so much so that Bren visited one evening this week in an attempt to capture the light show. She has posted a still shot in the photo gallery of the property online and a video will be coming soon.

Featured again this week is the unique 3 bedroom apartment in Cable Beach Apartments, which is available by private inspection only, as it is currently being rented by a lovely family for their holiday home. They are very obliging with inspections, so please call.

The Property Management Team has also been incredibly busy with a variety of properties become available all at the one time this week. The ‘refurbishment’ of the 3 bedroom apartment in Yachting Towers will be completed this weekend and it will be available for inspection from this coming Tuesday. Listed at $700 per week, it is great value.

GC 600 - Update on track construction works

We are now only 3 weeks away from the race and construction continues to move at a rapid pace.

During week 4 of the GC600 we have no major road works taking place. There may be some minor activities taking place around the circuit but they will have minimal impact on the traffic if any.

From tomorrow (Friday October 4), we will commence activity on the ocean way along Main Beach Parade meaning pedestrian access will be blocked off in certain areas. Pedestrian signage will be in place to re-direct foot traffic around the construction zones. This access is reinstated on October 15.

Residents of Main Beach Parade will also notice that event clearways will start to pop up from next Monday (October 7) meaning that parking is prohibited at times in the area. All areas will have clearly marked signage.

From Monday October 14, we will begin distributing resident and business car parking passes for those residing within the Main Beach Traffic areas (Main Beach and Paradise Waters). All residents and businesses receiving these passes will also receive an information brochure with key traffic changes highlighted as well as a contact (this email) should they have any queries or concerns as we move closer to event week.

Next week, we will distribute the event traffic map, the full list of affected roads and street closures together with our Off-Track calendar of events for your information.
