We felt our saying this week is very apt given an encounter one of our local friends had recently and kindly shared with us yesterday. It is a real ‘feel good’ story, which highlights, once again, what a lovely community/village, we live in…
A short time after having an accident ‘K’ was walking up the street in Main Beach, when a stranger, a very well presented, pretty, young woman, stopped her after noticing that she had an injury. She asked whether ‘K’ required any assistance. The reply was that she was fine and in conversation said she would be ‘laid up’ for some weeks and would be watching a lot of ‘Netflix’. The very kind passer-by then said she had also recently been ‘laid up’ and had also watched a lot of Netflix and could highly recommend a list of movies to watch. They exchanged numbers and, as promised, the list of Netflix ‘must watch’ arrived… Yesterday, three weeks later, ‘K’ received a telephone call from the young lady, enquiring as to how ‘K’ was going and offering assistance should it be required – “anything at all, shopping, assistance in the apartment or simply a coffee”…. What a great story! And, once again, what an amazing little community we live in.
I thought I would also share the following sayings:

Speaking of success, we would like to congratulate Carmen on the two Contracts she negotiated this week - Apartment 4 Oscar On Main and Apartment 6 Carrington Court are now both “Under Contract”! Carrington Court was actually not even listed and was one of those ‘jigsaw puzzles’ that we speak of from time to time… Carmen successfully put the pieces together!
We have also had three settlements this week – Apartment 302 Park Lane, Apartment 16 Yachting Towers and Apartment 1103 The Maldives – again, The Maldives was completing the ‘jigsaw puzzle’ and matching a buyer with a property, which we did not have listed… Congratulations to the happy Sellers and Buyers! And, thank you to the Sellers for entrusting MBPS with the sale of your properties…

Mia, who has been operating her Hairdressing business in Main Beach for 20 years, has moved her Salon, Bohemian Hair Artistry, from 24 Tedder Avenue to Shop 1, 15 Tedder Avenue - next to Soho Salon. On The Gold Coast...
GC Aqua Park
GC Aqua Park returns to the Broadwater Parklands on Saturday 21 September. Featuring a brand new HUGE inflatable course for the 2019/2020 summer season. The highest, largest and fun-est Aqua inflatables on the Gold Coast.
Roll around like a hamster, jump around on multiple trampolines, slide down the largest slides and play ball on the huge arena. All the inflatable equipment is built by certified manufacturers to international standards. Experienced and qualified lifeguards are on duty during operational times.
