Our saying this week is in keeping with how I ‘grew up’ not only in business but in life... I had two mentors in life, my Father and my Husband and coincidently amongst their mottos was ‘say yes to everything and worry later how you do it’… Today that remains the philosophy within MBPS.

So, when given the challenge of creating Easter Bonnets for the Our Main Beach Easter Bonnet Parade, the ‘front of house girls’ at MBPS, Wendy and Samira, rose to the occasion and produced an amazing array of Bonnets… Pardon the pun, but we must take ‘our hats off’ to Samira and her husband, Eman, who created the architectural desired Bonnet that will be worn by Samira on Easter Saturday at the Parade. Also, to our Director of First Impressions, Wendy, who excelled in initiative/creativity and is pictured wearing her own piece of architecture. So, how could you resist joining us in Main Beach on Easter Sunday for the Easter Egg Hunt and Hat Parade… The event commences at 10 am with the Easter Egg Hunt and the Hat Parade at 11 am. Another ‘challenge’ for the Team at MBPS, and more on ‘point’, is we are endeavouring to source properties for the countless genuine buyers who are seeking to move into Main Beach and nearby Paradise Waters or the ‘Sundale precinct’ of Southport. We are eagerly putting the jig-saw pieces together…

Never, in the 12 year history of MBPS, have we had only 2 properties listed for sale, which is what we were down to earlier this week. I am pleased to say we have increased our stock by 50% - we now have 4… It clearly is a Seller’s market!

A 1 bedroom courtyard apartment in La Joya, which we are presenting to our clients only at this stage and seeking ‘Expressions of Interest’, once again, as market value is difficult to gauge. Apartment 3 Xanadu East, which did not go to market, is now under contract and considered SOLD! So, another ‘quick off market’ sale, leaving the Sellers and Buyers both extremely happy. So, congratulations to them all!

One of our unmentionable Contracts is now unconditional, so also considered SOLD - 15/84-86 High Street, Southport. Congratulations to the happy Sellers and Buyers and to Claire, who negotiated the contract achieving the highest sale in the history of the complex!

Also, sold is 3/7-17 Purli Street, Chevron Island – another off market sale, once again leaving both the Sellers and Buyers very happy. Congratulations to them and to Claire and myself who negotiated the Contract!

What seems like only moments ago, I was fortunate enough to ‘put the pieces of the jig-saw puzzle together’ with the sale of the Sub-penthouse in XXV Breaker Street, Apartment 2201, together with the sale of Apartment 71 Xanadu East. Those Contracts settled this week, again leaving the Sellers and Buyers exceptionally happy, which gives us immense pleasure! Congratulations to them all!
