Every personal connection has meaning, and laughter is life’s sweetest creation...
This week has been all about ‘personal connection’ and as usual ‘laughter’, with a number of thoughtful gestures coming our way, including a ‘Thank you’ card and gifts sent by one of our happy Sellers, thus our saying this week, which was contained in the card…
Amongst the thoughtful gestures this week there has been - fresh fish delivered to us by one of our part-time locals, who had caught 12 tasty whiting on the morning he was returning home – delish! Not to mention the Lamington’s delivered by Hewey, our biggest fan, who comes in regularly through the day to say hello and does not expect anything more in return, other than a pat… Yes, Hewey is one of our canine friends – of cause the Lamingtons are from Bob and Margaret, for which we are very grateful – although, we are not sure they are ‘fat free’… You may recall Hewey, previously mentioned in our Newsletter, pictured below.
We often highlight the importance of our beautiful village and community spirit – not that we need food drops… but how nice and thoughtful and we definitely enjoy! Our friends C & R are also back in town and have delivered a couple of very thoughtful suggestions, which are a work in progress…
Our other meaningful connections this week have been a number of ‘out of the blue’ calls from potential sellers requesting property appraisals… So, whilst we have not got a lot of news on the Sales front this week, we have been extremely busy, as usual, with more work in progress…
The New Listing we mentioned last week – the 2 bedroom apartment in Pacific Views is Featured below. Whilst it will not go out to the wider market until early August, due to restricted access with the apartment being in the letting pool, we thought we would provide a ‘sneak’ preview by listing on our website first.
This week we have also had a new Contract and a Settlement, with Xanadu Apartment 99 going under ‘conditional’ Contract and De Deville Apartment 46 settled today – Congratulations to happy Sellers and Buyers and the MBPS Sales Team!

Groundwater Country Music Festival
“Spruce up your cowboy boots and round up your posse” for the completely free Groundwater Country Music Festival this weekend from Friday July 26 to Sunday July 28.
Set next to the pristine beachfront of Queensland’s Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, the festival will see a perfect mix of board shorts and banjos, surf boards and steel guitars as country music’s finest assemble for three days and nights of incredible entertainment.
The Groundwater Country Music Festival celebrated its inaugural year in June 2013 with 20,000 attending over the three days. In June 2014, the second annual Festival was held and in excess of 35,000 people boot scooted into Broadbeach for the event.
What remains the genius of the Groundwater Country Music Festival, and what sets it apart from a great range of other festivals is that the entire event is free. There are no charges, no booking fees and no tickets and the festival streets are “no drinking zones”.
