Well, that is exactly what I have been doing this afternoon about the Newsletter - procrastinating... We have been so busy this week, I said to Wendy, our Director of First Impressions, that I did not know where to start with the Newsletter… So Wendy decided to come up with some suggested sayings to assist in getting me started - I thought, I really must share the laughs:
- Worrying works! 90% of the things I worry about never happen…
- If at first you don’t succeed, skydiving is not for you!
- I don’t have a solution, but I do admire the problem…
- One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor…
Then, after a glass of red to welcome Carmen back after a well-deserved holiday in the USA, I thought – I must share the Drunken Duck, who was gifted to me as a get-well gift (after the accident) by Byron Bay Candle Co, from whom we purchased Mr. Jeeves… It has given us and many locals so much pleasure over the past couple of weeks - Thank you! It was very appropriate…
Notwithstanding all our efforts this week and being very close, we do not have any new Contracts to report - as yet... We did, however, have a settlement, with Apartment 18 Sainte Maxime settling this week. Congratulations to the happy sellers and buyers and well done to Carmen, who facilitated the sale.

Monster Machinery Day at Broadwater Parklands
The Broadwater Parklands will come alive with everything that digs, scoops, cleans and beeps on Sunday 27 May 2018 between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, opposite Carey Park.
More than 50 City vehicles will be on display to the public including excavators, graders, loaders, tip trucks, road sweepers, beach tractors, quad bikes and more. Bring the whole family along, slap on a hard hat and imagine yourself as a landscaper, lifeguard, beach cleaner, fence builder, dune protector or construction worker for the day. There will also be food stalls, live machinery demonstrations, free rides, and entertainment for kids of all ages.
This free annual community event is hugely popular and appeals to the big kid in all of us.
